Mark is a fourth generation Piper to work for the company.  After receiving his BA in Finance from the University of Colorado in 1991, Mark worked for National Bank of Detroit for three years in the Asset Based Lending Group. He then moved out to California to work as a lender at Silicon Valley Bank focusing on equipment and working capital lines of credit to start-up software companies.  Mark returned to Piper Realty in 1996. He is currently focused on Property Management and Commercial Sales. In addition to working at Piper Realty, Mark’s other real estate endeavors include past President of the Flint Area Association of Realtors, CCIM member, past board member DACBOR/CBOR, and Board Member MiCAR. Marks other interests include jogging, golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.

Ryan joined Piper Management Group in 2000 on a full time basis after having spent most of his early childhood in and around the property management business. After earning a Bachelor degree in Finance from Michigan State University, Ryan has gone on to excel in all aspects of the property management field including family, senior, LIHTC and condo. In addition, Ryan holds the CCIM designation recognizing him as an expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. When not at Piper, Ryan enjoys golf, tennis, and spending time with his family.

A lifelong resident of the state of Michigan, Larry joined the Piper Management team in 1979 after spending some time in the banking industry. Larry currently specializes in condo association management for Piper. Larry also holds the CPM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Away from the office, Larry is a former President of the Grand Blanc Kiwanis Club and an avid sports fan.

Having joined Piper Management in 1974, Brett has spent time in all facets of the property management industry. He currently focuses on management of Piper’s commercial spaces including lease negotiation, budgeting, office design, rehab, and remodel. Brett also has extensive knowledge in condo association management as well as in handling multi-family distressed properties. In his free time, Brett enjoys hitting the open road on his motorcycle.

Susan started in the property management business in 1984, and joined the Piper team in 2003. She currently holds several industry designations including: ARM (Accredited Residential Manager), COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist), NHMS (Non-Profit Housing Management Specialist) and TCS (Tax Credit Specialist). She currently oversees several of Piper’s senior properties. When not working, you will find Susan spending time with her family at their cabin in Alpena, MI.

Mary Kay began her career with the Piper team in 2003.  With over 13 years in the property management field, she has excelled in the area of LIHTC Housing.  Mary Kay specializes in properties utilizing a blended management approach to serve special needs populations.  In her spare time Mary Kay enjoys Detroit Tigers games with her family and being a soccer mom for her boys.

Erin is the newest member of the Piper team bringing in over 15 years of property management experience.  She has a very diverse background specializing in residential, LIHTC, Section 8 and Receivership type properties.  She holds the COS (Community Occupancy Specialist) and TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) designations.  In her spare time Erin enjoys boating and going to the park with her son.

Marcy began her career with the Piper team in January 2013. With over 16 years of experience in the property management field she has a diverse knowledge of the industry. Her experience includes 10 years of on site management and over 6 years of experience conducting file audits for affordable housing on behalf of MSHDA, as well as investors across the US. She has also conducted public training seminars for LIHTC, Rural Development, Fair Housing, HOME funds, Sec 8 and Bond training. Marcy holds several designations in the industry such as the HCCP, HCM-H ( Housing Compliance Manager of HUD housing) HCM-R ( Housing Compliance Manager of Rural Development) TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling.
